from traditional wedding rings, to candlefrom traditional wedding rings, to candles, sand, flowers, handfasting or quaich – to name but a few – I look forward to creating ceremonies that include rituals and symbols that reflect a couple’s personal preferences, their story, traditions and beliefs. for me the art of incorporating these elements into a ceremony is finding those that have real meaning for a couple, fit the surroundings and create unforgettable memories.
some couples prefer their ceremony to be traditonal, whilst others will want to be creative and very different. I am very happy to support personal choices and explore unusual ideas, whether it’s the location, time of the day, choice of readings or rituals.
as an Interfaith Minister I am able to work with couples of all faiths and none to create the ceremony that’s perfect for them. the personal preferences of the couple are essential and whether it’s about incorporating select elements from their own faith(s), honoring the beliefs and traditions of the wider family or opting for a person centred humanist ceremony – everything is possible!
all the ceremonies for love are tailored to a couple, their personal story, and their personal preferences. some couples will want a ceremony rich in elements, whilst others prefer simple. my ethos is that I will explore all of these wishes by truly listening and honouring them as I create your very special occasion
in Scotland and the Highlands in particular we are spoilt with a unique landscape, and holding a ceremony of love here allows couples to tap into the magic of nature, whether it’s on a beach, an atmospheric woodland or in the mountains. you don’t even need to be outdoors to experience the magic! an impressive variety of amazing indoor locations let you enjoy a ceremony with the backdrop of the beautiful highland scenery

I am based near Lochinver in Assynt, in the North-West Highlands and deeply connected to the landscape where I live and always enjoy ceremonies in my region, from as South as Gairloch and the coast North to Corrieshalloch Gorge and Ullapool, then up the coast via Achiltibuie, Achmelvich, Clachtoll and Kylesku, all the way up North via Scourie, Kinlochbervie and Sandwood Bay to Durness. or in the heart of the North-West around Rosehall, Lairg & Bonar Bridge and towards the East coast. I’m very happy to travel further though and also frequently conduct weddings near Inverness, along the Moray Coast and Aberdeenshire, and as far as the the Outer Hebrides on the Isles of Lewis and Harris (I’m not far from the ferry to Stornoway) and Orkney, and sometimes other parts of Scotland. whether you are local to Wester Ross, Easter Ross, Sutherland, Caithness or beyond, a visitor or NC500 traveller – if you are looking for a very special destination to mark an occasion please get in touch. for ashes ceremonies I also offer support remotely …
