Who can resist the natural beauty of Scotland’s coast… I lead outdoor ceremonies on coral sand or pebble beaches, rugged clifftops and rockpools.

Private, Personal Ceremonies
Many beach weddings I lead are quiet elopements—just a couple, sometimes with just witnesses or close friends or family joining. However small or simple the day, the ceremony remains the heart: a meaningful moment held in nature.
I often work with couples who don’t enjoy being in the spotlight and want something calm, real, and free of performance. There’s no pressure to say more than you want to. Together, we’ll shape something quietly powerful—held by the setting, and true to who you are.
Ceremonies That Honour Your Beliefs—Whatever They May Be
Every ceremony I create is shaped around the couple at its heart. I take time to listen to your story, understand what matters to you, and gently weave those details into something personal and true.
Whether you’re drawn to a humanist ceremony or hold faith, spiritual, or cultural traditions close, you’re welcome. We can include rituals that feel meaningful to you—like a handfasting, the sharing of a quaich, or anything else that honours your journey together.
During our ceremony Monika reminded us that whilst we have memories of our day, our day (the people around, the landscape, the air) also has memories of us. Monika, please know that one of our favourite memories of our day is you and we will never forget how special you made our day
We were so lucky to find Monika. After agreeing on the general outline of the ceremony and sending Monika the readings, our story and other information she requested, Monika began crafting the ceremony. Experiencing it for the first time on the day was fantastic. Monika had taken all the random snippets of our life and woven them into a story linking everything together. The ceremony surpassed all our expectations and was truly perfect.
Monika has a lovely manner and nothing was too much bother. We made our vows to suit our Happy life together and Monika was great and kept a wee secret I slipped in to make my now husband laugh. . On the day the weather was a bit wild but love conquers all. We laughed and cried during the ceremony. It was written out perfectly to reflect our love for each other
